Oddly I did not use the word /comments/, as in "comments as noted requirement", even though I thought to when originally replying.

That was just the /reviewer/ in me over- /talking/ beyond what I originally meant to discuss. I expect that in the setup & code there might be some assumptions /declared/. As though comments are necessary even in every hack utility I might create. I could not say for sure that Simon was source of that expectation in me, but I do recall he and another from way back, who made it obvious and thus /influencing/ me in understanding just how *nice* such spelled-out assumptions can be; even in, if not especially in, little snippets of code like that.
