If you close the cursor, SQL should release lock if something else needs.

Otherwise, code a CL module (CLLE), make the program a nomain procedure and
call the procedure from the CL using CALLPRC and compile the module for
CLOSSQLCSR(*ENDMOD). When it exits it will close the cursors but you should
not have to do that if you are closing the cursor. The os should release
them if anybody else needs them.
