Is your Select statement Declared in a cursor and the data retrieved is a result of doing a Fetch? If that's true, and you're not closing your cursor explicitly, is the program in actgrp *New? If not in *New, and compile parameter CLOSQLCSR is *ENDACTGRP - then it's possible that that is why you're seeing your expected results. In this case it will continue to retrieve the next set of records.

Subject: newbie embedded SQL issue
I have written an SQLRPGLE program. Appears to run fine, with this issue: Invoke the program...and the results are the same as when I do an SQL select. Run it a second time...and the results are different. Run it a third time....and the results are different than the second. What do I need to do so to get consistent results that match a standard SQL select?
Thanks!
Rick
