I understand the concept, Vern, but this approach can lead one astray.  The
undocumented feature of today could well be overridden by the patched bug of
tomorrow.  When it's documented, it's bound to be pretty solid since IBM
(unlike their primary competition) are notorious for their attention to
upward compatibility.
