If you use numeric fields for your dates I think mmddyy has a more
'natural' sort then ddmmyy. Of course, being from the US, I'm biased.
:)

So, in other words, it's better to sort wrong due to one major field being
misplaced at the end of the sort, than it is to sort wrong due to the most
important and the next most important being on the end. Yeah, I guess
there's a strange sort of logic to that.
