Thanks for all the answers. It remainds me to pay attention to the
compiler warnings.

It is hard to decide the best solution, I RTFM and it sugests using
%DEC, but also eval(r) seems good.
Probably using 1.00 instead of 1 or changing to mult by 100 and divide
by 100 will work, but I'm affraid that in maintenance an "overly"
complex expresion may end up simplified, and the integer problem back.

In paraguay we don't use cents ( a dolar is 5000 guaranies), so ones,
fives, tens are paticaly worthless.
But recently the legislators presented a proyect to take 3 ceros out,
and use decimals. Since several of our tables where created in a S/34
the two decimal places where an important saving. We "modernized" the
interface (it is all web now) but we never bother to add the decimals.
Alter table does a good job, but we will have to check the programs in
which we do rounding, or as I found out today, where we have division.
