The answer to that is both yes and no.
No because you have to send data that compiles with the HTTP protocol.
Yes because if you use the right HTTP method you can send anything to
the server and it will store it as a file.
So presuming that you can open a socket to the HTTP server port,
successfully negotiate a secure sockets connexion, then you can send a
PUT request with your arbitrary data and the HTTP server should (if
configured correctly) create a file containing your data in the
specified directory structure.
Something like:
PUT /def/ghi/dummy.txt HTTP/1.1
Content-type: text
Content-length: nnnn where nnnn is the actual length of your data
[empty line containing only CRLF]
Your arbitrary data goes here
should work.
