I very much don't love the extraneous do/enddo just for the sake of 
enabling a leave.  It simply immediately registers in my head as a 
loop.  So once again, style is in the eye of the beholder.

In the end, I counsel my clients that the actual standard itself is less 
important than the fact that they have one implemented company wide.
