Maybe I'm wrong but, as I see it, Davis stated that PARM1 was like aLuis, he's doing a SELECT ... INTO var1 where var1 is defined as a
field in another file ("D Parm1 LIKE ( A field in a file declared in
the F Specs ) CONST"), so the CONST rule would not apply here? Maybe
the field is called CONST? BTW, the CONST rule DOES apply to V5R3...
CONST parameter. I think the rule applies.
I'm very sorry. I read that completely wrong!! I didn't see that wVar was
a standalone specification
