Thanks, Vern - I think. You're no <idiom alert> spring chicken yourself </end alert>. One may be childish, though, without being of the chronological age.
I did hesitate using "verboten" though not because I thought it was childish. Rather because I'm aware that we have a large German contingent on the list, and I did not want to be called for using the wrong word, spelling, usage, or other grammatical errors (I started to say " faux pas" but that would just bring the French contingent in on the Germans' side - a surreal image if ever there was one). My German is very limited; I only read German (never spoke it) when I was majoring in German History >40 years ago. And I nearly always had to refer to my German-English dictionary.
