V5R3, I believe - I got this from the %ADDR section in the V5R3 RPG manual (
http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/iseries/v5r3/index.jsp?topic=/books/c092508502.htm)
and it includes the '|' symbol on the LHS indicating the paqragraph was
added at 'this' release (i.e. V5R3):

|When the argument of %ADDR cannot be modified, %ADDR can only be
|used in a comparison operation. An example of an argument that cannot
|be modified is a read-only reference parameter (CONST keyword specified on
the
|Procedure Interface).
