The 500 error is coming from the server which is when your program breaks
the connection. Sounds like they are getting something on the inbound they
aren't expecting.

I passed it a timeout value of 600 seconds but it returns instantly. No idea
why it would be closing the connection. Nothing in Scott's code is doing it.
