Maybe SET OPTION ALWBLK=*NONE will fix the problem? This prevents SQL reads(SELECT) from being blocked so you always get current values but it will hurt retrieval performance.

I use a SQLRPGLE program to display a file. when a user change information of the file my SQLRPGLE program still see the old value !!!!!

How i can see the new values whitout close the cursor ?
