Florin - you need an array DS defined with Likerec which you will find much easier than the old fashioned MODS.

Try this article http://www.ibmsystemsmag.com/ibmi/enewsletterexclusive/7987p1.aspx and this one http://www.ibmsystemsmag.com/print/print.aspx?print_page=%2Fibmi%2Fenewsletterexclusive%2F7987printp1.aspx&string_referer=/ibmi/enewsletterexclusive/7987p3.aspx for all the gory details you need. They include a subfile sorting example.

Use Eval-Corr if you have to use two DS but you may not need them.
