Scott Klement has an open source FTP API available.

We also have a commercial product called FTP/400 if interested I testing it.

List the server's directory with output to an AS400 flat file (DIROUTPUT).
Example: dir serverdir/*.txt (disk

Then read the AS400 flat file (DIROUTPUT) and "get" the txt file(s) from the directory.
