Hi,

I'm about to start work on a project where I need to do some communicating with a CORBA server. I know I can generate Java stubs from the IDL and prototype those into RPG. I have done that before.

I am wondering if anybody has any experience with talking directly to CORBA via RPG with sockets or some other approach? Just wondering if I can avoid the "java layer" and keep everything in RPG?
