I think the platform being "decimated" is an overstatement:

I don't think IBM is going to drop the platform any time soon.

Btw, i was not getting on Mihael case.Just adviced him to give it up.If

me) in the 90's, where the problems where the same, but not many options
besides SEU and RPGIII,and everybody seemed to be quite pleased with the
development tools, and everything global, non-modular, etc.Things are
different now, but also that the platform is decimated.And i have still
more than 20 years to go before retirement.But, like Mihael, i'm not
planning to stay that long on this platform.So i say to Mihael, good for
you, not good for this community.
