Is this file using a shared open data path? Could one of the subprograms or service programs open then close this shared file?

Subject: Pointer Error
I'm unable to understand why in an RPG programme that writes to a file
in a loop , that after the first write we get the following errors
MCH3601 Undefined pointer error followed by
RNX9998 Compiler or subroutine error
The processing before the write is complex and involves a number of RPG
ILE programmes and RPG service programmes. The Activation groups look ok
(Named ) however interspaced in the processing are a couple of RPG (OPM)
programmes. Is it possible that these could be the cause of our problem.
We are at Version 6
Thank you in advance
