In another post you mentioned that you also like Python. I just
wanted to make sure you're aware that there is iSeries Python as well.
Sure, not with the level of support from IBM that PHP has, but
implemented such that working with both QSYS files and arbitrary IFS
stream files is amazingly easy. You can run Django on the i via
iSeries Python, and plenty of other third-party packages as well. I
have found Python to be a very nice complement to RPG and CL on the i.
