When changing the "procedure interface" I can cause difference in the
parameters of the calling program and the caled one.

If the routine ties to use a parameter that was not pased, it gives a
"pointer error", what happens when I pass a parameter that the routine
is not expectin? Nothing?

I have a trigger that calls different programs depending on the data. I
want to add a parameter in the call, and upgrade the called programs,
but I will have a short period during wich not all programs are in sync.
If the called programs just ignore the extra parameter, I can do the
change while the programs are in use.

TIA.
Raúl
