Isn't *START preferred as it will put you at the first record regardless if
the key is ascending OR descending?

On a descending key, wouldn't *LOVAL put you at end-of-file?

you to the beginning of the file if you have null-capable fields.

As bonuses:
- *START is faster than *LOVAL
- *START is more descriptive than *LOVAL
