On a descending key, wouldn't *LOVAL put you at end-of-file?

Usually *LOVAL works the same as *START, but *LOVAL doesn't necessarily get
you to the beginning of the file if you have null-capable fields.

As bonuses:
- *START is faster than *LOVAL
- *START is more descriptive than *LOVAL
