Silly question - are you setting Err_Len before the call to write()?

Rory,
Yes, I have used this same code elsewhere with no problem.
As I indicated, the file is created, but the Write does not load any data.

Below is the Write statements:

Err_Data =

'Company_Id,Trading Partner,Document Id,Message' + CRLF;

Bytes_Loaded = // Bytes writen

Write (FileDS // File Descriptor

: %Addr(Err_Data) // Data to write

: Err_Len // Length of data

);

p_ErrNo = sys_errno;

p_Msg = strerror (errno);

ErrNo is 0.

Bytes_Loaded = 0

Err_Data =

%EditC(Company_Id : 'X') + ',' +

%Trim(Trading_Partner) + ',' +

%Trim(Document_Id) + ',' +

%Trim(Exception_Message) + CRLF;

Bytes_Loaded = // Bytes written

Write (FileDS // File Descriptor

: %Addr(Err_Data) // Data to write

: Err_Len // Length of data

);

p_ErrNo = sys_errno;

p_Msg = strerror (errno);

Errno = 0

Bytes_Loaded = 0
