May I ask why it can't be converted?

Anyway, to answer the question: I believe the way to get the RRN was
to use a continuation F-spec, with option RECNO and then the name of a
field to hold the RRN. The spec has 'K' at position 53, 'RECNO'
starting at 54, and the field name starting at 60.
