heh heh.. You got that right.

I have seem way too many programs from way back then where the 
programmer wanted to process every record in the file, or very nearly 
so, and chose to process the file in Keyed order.  There is usually no 
reason for that; by processing it in arrival order performance improves 
to where users wonder if the program actually ran.

Whether he is updating detail records, the primary records, or whatever 
the case, unless there is a specific and clear reason to use the K, why 
use the K?  Programming is easier and performance is better.

At least, that is my experience.
