For what it's worth, let me say that I agree 100% with David.

No, I'm not happy that Vern lost his job. And I hope that he is able
to find a good replacement position soon.

But there is a place for that discussion, and this list is not it.

And for anyone who doesn't like how David runs the lists, there's
nothing stopping you from starting your own lists and running them as
you please.
