I am printing to a form (using forms overlay software INTERFORM). The printer is defined as HP4_PJLHP.

It is an 8.5 x 11 form and I want to print all the way to line 65.

I have defined an overflow indicator in RPG but never reference it. This used to work in the past when I wanted to ignore overflow.

But the DDS for the printer file is getting in the way. It is defined as 66 lines long at 6 LPI. The DDS compile defaults to 60 for overflow. I am able to change it to 65 when I compile the DDS, but I get a run time error:

Overflow line 65 for file ORD139RP in library DALELIB not valid.
Function check. CPF4214 unmonitored by ORD139 at statement .OPEN,
instruction X'08CD'.

I check and 64, 63, 62, 61 are all invalid. 60 is the largest valid overflow line.

I am still checking a few things to see if there is a setting in my forms overlay that may be the problem.

But I am concerned that I cannot specify line 65 as overflow. Or what If I really did not want overflow at all, but just wanted to let the printed lines continue on. I have done that in the past for test programs, but they probably had internally defined printer files.

Is this no longer possible? There has to be some way to print to the bottom of the page.
