If the only access was a spiral staircase, You already know why they left
the S/36 down there. Did anyone even know what it was?

Several years ago, I visited a bank to assist in performing a security
audit. Everybody knew QSECOFR password. Only one person knew LAN
administrator password.........

Computer was on lower level. In same room was an S/36. Only way out
was a spiral staircase. I keep wondering how they got the newer
computer down there. They referred to it as "AS/400". And, why they
left the S/36 there.

Another of life's mysteries.....

I recall windows being taken out of a 4th floor data center to get a new
AC unit delivered. It almost did not make it, talk about a tug-of-war.
And when moving a S/38 down the hall we had to stand it on end to get
around a corner.
