Add the SFLSIZ() keyword with a P field for the number of records in the subfile.
Define a field in the DDS to hold the total number of records in the subfile.

Then populate SF1RECS immediately following the loop in your program with the last RRN number.

It works pretty good, although I have noticed that with just a few records it can not do the math well.
