I found my problem.
The library list strikes again! I've been bit often enough by library
list not being what I expect it to be that I should know to check it
first. I guess I'm a slow learner.
I had to install new version 9.1 of RDI and had enough problems
downloading and installing and licensing that I did not move my old
environment. So my test library was no longer included in my compiles.
When the program and the data and the CL are all lined up as expected,
it's a beautiful thing.
Just posting stuff here makes you think things through a lot more
thoroughly than you would on your own.
