By "the value comes in as. . .", I mean when I debug the program, the variable based on the pointer parameter in the handler shows " EXF-01 & 02". The length parameter of the handler is seven, which is right before the &.
But if an un-encoded ampersand isn't legal in XML, I guess I need to see about getting it eliminated. If it's encoded properly, will my handler bring it in as & or will I need to manually decode it?
