Sounds like you would have to take a shot at doing it through AFP with a long 700-character string and just map your printing fields into it.

Subject: W I D E printer output
Does anyone know of a way to create printed output from an ILE RPG program to have more than 378 print positions (page width)? I am working on a program that needs to have approximately 700 print positions per line. Is there a way to do this using one printer file? I am open to either externally defined or internally defined (with O specs). This would be printed on a network attached laser printer, possibly using legal size paper. I understand the font would be very tiny.
