No, seriously, isn't including those kind of jumps in your code a really bad idea? It's on page 180 of the Redbook by the way.

GOTO is generally worse than "structured" jumps, but sometimes it's
the only kind of jump available, and that's the situation we have
here. Many of us remember (or still use!) old-school CLPs that don't
have any formal looping constructs or subroutines, and thus had to
resort to GOTO for those purposes. Maybe at some point, WHENEVER will
get more sophisticated and have at least an EXSR to use instead of
GOTO.
