The error resurfaced yesterday, and my work-around didn't help. I've changed the work-around to do an ENDJOB instead of a RCLACTGRP. If/when the error appears again, we'll see if that works better.

The activation group in question is a new one for the service program that makes the HTTPAPI call, which is a couple levels below the actual CGI program itself.

If the pattern continues, we'll see how it works come Monday.

I'd be interested in hearing what kind of affect that reclaiming the named activation group may have on the IBM i HTTP server, if any. And if it resets the SSL interface as hoped.
