I have screens where I embed hex codes to change color in the middle
of the string.
The position is variable so separate fields is not an option.

X'28' for red, X'3A' for blue...

There is a request to display in yellow but when I add the X'32' it
displays with dots between the characters.

Is there a hex code for yellow that will just display in yellow with
NO dot/underlines?

No, there isn't. If a session emulator is involved then you just
have to configure the emulator session to not display the dots. If it is
a real 5250 device then there is nothing for it.

Sincerely,

Dave Clark
