Trying to get my head around qsort. Looks promising, and people I
respect say it's the right answer.
Here is my practice piece:
* 2-columns (State & City)
o sort by State, up or down
o sort by City, up or down
* always maintain the original order of the "other" column.
That looks to me like I'll want _8_ procedures? 3 columns would need
_16_ procedures? Methinks I have badly misunderstood something and
best stop and ask questions.
