Which part?  or are you thinking the whole enchilada?

An RPG programmer can learn most of the enhanced RPG features in an afternoon.  Maybe a whole day if s/he gets distracted. Compare that with... a year of so to grok html, .css, and JavaSCript (or some other incantation)?   Plus learning the server stuff, designing the new user interface, and what goes with it.

This NOT an either/or choice.  Doing some of each makes a lot of sense.  Having a loyalty to 1980s RPG and refusing to grow with what we have is, in my opinion, short-sighted and  feeds the frenzy to abandon "that old platform."
