Some of your questions are covered in the help document:
https://halcyon-tech.github.io/vscode-ibmi/#/
and in the readme:
https://github.com/halcyon-tech/vscode-ibmi/tree/master/docs
The help documents is generated from the readme, but it has a clickable
index. Your choice.
And you can ask question on the Github project.
1. Compile listings under the OUTPUT tab (View->Output, or Ctrl + Shift
+ U). Select IBM i Output in the drop down on the right. See "Log
Compile Output" in the settings.
2. Compile errors are in the Problem tab. Click on one and it takes you
to the line in error, which is also decorated with squiggly lines.
See Tips & Tricks in the help.

Hey, all.Cloud
I decided to give Visual Studio Code a try with the Code for IBM i
extension. Pretty nice!
Questions:
1. Where do compile spooled files get put?
2. Is there any way to view the spooled files/compiles like in ILEditor
where you could match up errors with line numbers?
Any other tips/addons?
