Alternative 1: read the IFS file with SQL into a BLOB field - encrypt and write it out with SQL again

Alternative 2: read the IFS file with IFS APIs - encrypt and write it out with IFS APIs.

With SQL there is the chance that you can also do the encryption with SQL - if the algorithm is supported.
