you need to specify

OPTION(*EVENTF)

in the command string of the compilation command.

Even if you use a custom compilation command (like we do) you need to create that additional parameter "OPTION" and you have to supply the special value "*EVENTF" to that parameter, because RDi scans the command string for exactly that parameter value.

If you use a custom compilation command, of course that has to create the EVENTF and the *LDA has to be updated. This is what the IBM compiler commands do, when OPTION(*EVENTF) is specified.
