Thank you for the responses. This is just one program, and of course it is
using internally defined files, level breaks, matching records, as well as
an addrout file to access the primary file, which is Update. I don't have
a ton of time for this, so I think for now, I will just add the logic I
need to for another file, and then change the updates to the primary file
from using the O specs and cycle, to using EXCPT and cycle, for a little
more control.
This program will definitely need retrofitting, and also making sure it is
not a duplicate of an already running ILERPG program that performs
basically the same thing. This program has been a case of "if it ain't
broke, don't fix it" by other developers, but there are too many band-aids
around it already, so it's begging for an update. I think this is the last
RPG36 program here, but can't swear to it.
