I highly recommend Raz-lee 's SHWFC / CHGFC as a DB table
displaying/editing tool
It is better then WRKDBF IMHO

Has anyone downloaded from the easy400 site?

Easy400 requires registration, as well as, requires a mobile Phone # to
complete it.? I'd rather not provide my personal cell considering the
entire site is unsecure and there's no information on what would be done
with it after I register.

Gavin.

Kerwin, did you miss this part in the original post?
Selected Application Development ToolSet tools and their associated
commands continue to be *available but not supported *in IBM i 7.6:

? ? - Start Data File Utility (STRDFU)
? ? - Create DFU Display File (CRTDFUDSPF)
Someone correct me if I'm mistaken, but DFU hasn't been *supported*
for many years (decades?) now.

In a former life I used FEU - File Edit Utility.

And there is also WRKDBF

Neither are free. But isn't ACS SQL support now allowing update
capabilities.

Hi Gavin

I would say several thousand of us have downloaded from that site. It
has been very trustworthy. Giovanni Perotti, the founder, passed away in
2024, and either his family or someone in this community now manage it
