Netscape went through that terrible 6.x stretch which had me continually returning to 4.x (and IE when some site wouldn't work otherwise). But 7.01 has finally seemed to work. Netscape Mail has even been compatible with Exchange. My biggest complaint has been that AVG only works with Outlook for e-mail scans. Second complaint is really a simple irritation at the current state of everything -- I regularly need to download/install current JREs from Sun. I can't recall _needing_ to resort to IE for any site this year. Beyond that, about your question "What do you people think of this [huge IE hole]?" -- Ummm... so what else is new? What's your point? :-) And a further minor comment... really, this kind of thing has been possible for years and years. Anybody remember ANSI-bombs? Now THOSE were fun (and just about as far as I progressed in area of creating such things).
