Hi Chuck. Try www.search400.com I also have quite a collection of IBM sites you may want to view as well as a collection of AS/400 shareware that has saved us an enormous amount of time and money. Here's a place to start with IBM: http://www-03.ibm.com/systems/i/ Michael Mayer AS/400 - Iseries Administration - State of NJ WIC Program. I tried "detecting" but the majority of results were rather dated. Thanks ! Try PowerTech.com. These people know their business. John Earl, famous in the Iseries security world, is the CEO. Also, I've read recently on search400.com that there are ways to do this. In fact, the latest versions of OS/400 are delivered with software that provides this detection.
