Bill,
I don't know where the info can be found, but here's a few simple steps
STRM400 <ENT>
5 - APPLICATION MGR <ENT>
4 - MAINTAIN MENUS <ENT>
Enter Menu Name and environment <ENT>
Move cursor to space in front of where to type new option.
Must put single quotes in front and back of your text
Eg. '10. Test Option'  <ENT>
F6 or skip these lines and go to F8 below
Enter Option number
10 <ENT>
Choose APPL 1(default) or
             Menu or
             User defined <ENT>
IF APPL enter info required (company, env, rls, task#) You can prompt.
<ENT>
IF MENU type in menu name <ENT>
IF USER DEFINED type in command (SIGNOFF or RUNQRY or whatever fits on
line)
<ENT>
F8 Should see your option line created ord if you skipped above step you
can
enter details yourself.
Then either F8 or <ENT>
I guess MEX can give you more details if you need.
Regards
