Hello,
Even though this question is not directly related to .net and the
iSeries, I thought of posting it anyway. The .net application that I'm
working on does connect to the iSeries and interacts with data. I'm
developing some help files with HTML workshop. I have the
F1HelpProvider in the application and have set the namespace to point to
the chm file (the Namespace property shows the path on my PC as
C:\folder\folder....) I added a menu option that when clicked shows the
help file (it also has the path). My question is, how do I set up the
help files to ignore the path? I have tried putting the chm file on the
bin folder, on the Debug folder, etc and removed the path from the
namespace but then the help files do not show. Has anybody worked with
help files? My worry is that when I deploy the application, obviously
the path on the target computer will not exist and the help files will
surely not show.
Would I have to create a folder during set up and put the help files
there and hard code that path in the application? Any help (pun
intended) would be greatly appreciated.
