I posted this originally on midrange-l, but it was rejected with the
admonition to post here -- So, YES, I know this is VB6, and not .net...
;)
--------------------------
I've found a couple of articles online, but they are significantly
antiquated (e.g., VB DOS, VB3, etc).
The client is running VB6 and I'd like to implement a solution which
asks for the iSeries to notify the PC app when there's a new entry in
the data queue *without* having to resort to having the PC app poll the
iSeries every three seconds to see if there's anything new...so I
thought using a data queue might be more efficient.
Anybody done this before?
