Virtually every iSeries programmer is automatically a 'hard core green screen addict' since they overwhelmingly use SEU/PDM for all their coding needs. An extremely unscientific survey of those I've met in the past ten years tells me that virtually nobody uses the SEU command line, and line commands outside of C/D/B/A are exotic. The point being that SEU users are very (no, extremely!) comfortable with SIMPLE and PRIMITIVE. If they wanted more features, they'd read the help on SEU and use what limited function it has. My logic may be flawed, of course. I don't personally think there's anything that can be done to entice programmers comfortable with SEU over to a GUI editor, speed included. --buck
