I looked, am at v5.0, it is not there at all. An it is not in CODE, either - there you can toggle both sequence numbers and dates display from the View menu. But no right-click popup there, either.

Choosing whether to display the date area is in the Parsers section of the Remote Systems->iSeries section - boy, it's painful to go through all the levels to change these things.

But if you are working with C, it has no effect, because there is no C parser registered there. Can I, the end-user, add a parser to that list?

Also, I am not able, for some reason, to suppress (hide) sequence numbers. I found THAT under LPEX Editor->Controls.

From the team's responses, I know you are listening, and responding in a helpful and encouraging way. Please get these common toggles on a popup, not in 3+ different areas, as the Preferences is set up now.

Thanks

Vern

Emily and Reeve,
I am sorry, I didn't explain my question very well.

I meant in the lpex edit when looking at source code. The presentations
and documentation that I have seen shows that I can right click in the
source anywhere to get a drop down menu of choices. There is an option to
Show Dates to make the date column appear. I don't have that option. The
only way I can see the source code line change date is thru the windows..
preferences...remote systems...iSeries...LPEX editor parsers to check the
box to show date area.

Again, I am on the most current 5.0.1 and I still don't see the right click
option to toggle the show date area in the source code.

Help?
