Hi Ed,

        Don't know if this will help you or not, but reeve was kind enough to
relate some of his travails and they helped me considerably.  The point that
helped me was :

reeve said :'I cleaned out my TEMP folder (C:\Documents and
Settings\Reeve\Local Settings\Temp), rebooted..."

        Once I did that, I was able to get an install to complete.  Good Luck!

I had installed WDSC for Iseries 5.0 once on my PC with success.  After
using it for a while, I started to receive the message:

Eclipse.   Completing the installation   This appeared on a splash screen.

        I decided to uninstall the product and re-install it.  After 3
tries, I now get the above message whenever I try to go into the Websphere
Development studio.  Nothing happens, the splash screen stays there and I
have to cancel out of it.  A process javaw.exe is running in the background.
Now I cannot get into the Development Studio at all.  Any help would be
greatly appreciated.
