[..] If you scroll through a file using the arrow keys, a half-second pause occurs regularly every 101 cursor movements. It doesn't matter if you're scrolling up, down, left or right - every 101 cursor movements, there's that little half-second hiccup.
So, there is still that disorienting little jolt, but it's far less annoying than it used to be!
